Explore the field of aerospace engineering, tour RPI's top-tier research labs and learn how experimental data are collected by running wind tunnel tests. Participants will apply their new aerodynamic and flight mechanic knowledge by building a balsa glider and an electric radio controlled airplane which will be flight tested on the final day of the program.

The Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program is a distinguished transatlantic initiative that offers fifteen accomplished Americans the opportunity to complete a comprehensive professional development program in Germany.  The Bosch Fellowship is comprised of three main components: customized work placements, professional seminars, and German language training.  Provides young U.S. professionals with high-level work placements in the federal government and private sector in Germany, gaining an understanding of issues facing Germany and the EU today. Must be U.S. citizen between the ages of 23 and 34. Ideal candicates have a master's degree.

The Faculty for the Future program, launched in 2004, awards fellowships to women from developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or Post-doctorate studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines at leading universities worldwide. Thermo Fisher Scientific is offering our future science scholars an opportunity to win $10,000 in scholarship funding for the Fall 2015 semester. This scholarship was created to help provide educational opportunities for the future generation of scientists. Graduate students or undergraduate students must be enrolled in an accredited college for the Fall 2015 semester to qualify for this scholarship. The U.S. Department of State has chosen The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars as its operating partner for the 2016 Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship. The Pickering Fellowship is one of the State Department’s premier recruitment programs aimed at increasing diversity among U.S. Foreign Service officers. “We’re honored to work with the State Department on this initiative,” said Michael B. Smith, president of The Washington Center. “The goals of the Pickering Fellowship dovetail with The Washington Center’s mission to prepare young adults to lead and succeed as professionals and global citizens in the 21st century.” The Washington Center will assume administrative and programmatic functions for the Pickering Fellowship, which is available to 10 undergraduate and 20 graduate students who are, or will be attending, U.S. colleges and universities each year, beginning with the 2016 cohort.
